Job Summary:
As a WordPress and WooCommerce Developer at AddOnn Tech, you’ll develop and maintain custom websites and online stores for our clients. Using WordPress and WooCommerce, you’ll craft responsive, secure, and high-performing solutions. We’re seeking a skilled developer with e-commerce expertise to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Build and customize WordPress websites and WooCommerce stores to meet client needs.
- Develop and tweak themes and plugins using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Configure WooCommerce features, including products, payments, and shipping integrations.
- Ensure sites are responsive, SEO-optimized, and fast-loading across devices.
- Diagnose and fix issues with WordPress core, plugins, or WooCommerce setups.
- Work with designers and clients to implement designs and deliver projects on time.
- Handle site updates, backups, and security to keep everything running smoothly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-3 years of experience in WordPress and WooCommerce development.
- Strong skills in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Proven experience with WooCommerce customization and plugin development.
- Familiarity with WordPress tools like Astra, Elementor, or similar frameworks/builders.
- Understanding of web hosting, SEO, and performance optimization.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
- Bonus: Knowledge of other platforms (e.g., Shopify) or API integrations.
